Subj: [kl] Self improvement

Maybe I didn't read it right, but Dan's comment about me not wanting to
improve my playing or some such, I was so hurt by the message I saw it
through tears, seems a bit off the mark.

I have 1730 videos up on YouTube, and a website www.kathywilliams76.com. In
2008, I bought a H2 Zoom microphone and recorded all my practice sessions
which I then listened to and analysed at work. Then I bought a handycam and
again recorded everything from practice to concerts. Has anyone (apart from
my teacher Floyd) given any thought to how much time was spent first
recording my practice, transferring the video from camera to PC, analyse the
footage and run it through the video editing software, render the video fit
for youtube then upload to Youtube? 1730 times? And I don't try for self
improvement? See my post a couple of months ago when I posted no less than
six different versions of the Mozart Concerto and I'm sure I will be
recording many more.

I shall continue recording analysing and posting my practice and
performances, but none of you will hear about it.

Regards,
