The original 1948 version of Copeland's concerto had some high notes and a solo part with a technically coda. These were modified at Goodman's request.

Charles Neidich recorded the original version including the coda for Chandos about ten years ago.

Of the versions I've heard, I find the original one by Goodman with Copeland conducting is the most satisfying to listen to. - It's been reissued by CBS.
