I've has success with using 2 Martin guitar dampits- plenty of humidification, without the mold problems of a bass dampit. When the weather gets warmer and wetter, I use only 1.

Subject: [kl] Humidifying BAM double clarinet case

Rachel -

The bottle is too small and too slow. A double-bass DampIt is better,
but it gets moldy.

I take a large paper towel, wet it and squeeze it out, spread it flat
and lay it over my clarinets. It works well; for me. Change it each
day and you won't get mold. Use your hygrometer to know when to use
it, since once you get the humidity into the correct range, you won't
have to use it every day.
