What can I say. The klarinet list has been a cornerstone of my music
"education."

Dan goes on:

<<<Since I once played in the band of a burlesque theater in Newark, NJ (and
fell in loved with Candy Barr, of blessed memory), I have had some modest
experience playing hootchie kootchie music, or, as Tommasini said,
"Va-Va-Voom Goes the Soprano.">>>

Dan - that's like, music porn. Candy Barr?

To I am shocked! There's gambling in this casino!

The plots of many an opera are at best R-rated.

Every generation thinks that they are the one that invented sex. Alas, it's
simply not possible. After all, as much as it might violate one's sense of
propriety, your parents Did The Nasty or y'all wouldn't be here.

(Just an observation, not a value judgment.)
