Hello,

The player has contacted me and we had a very good Email discussion.
Hopefully the situation is now resolved in a way that is satisfactory to
him.

The barrel that he received was made in 2006 according to the number that he
provided us for reference. That means that it is approximately 5 years old.
This model has changed over the last few years and the specifications from 5
years ago are not the same as the current production.

Since we did not supply the product in question directly to
Woodwind/Brasswind, it is not possible to give any information regarding the
storage conditions or history during the years in question. It may also be
possible that the product may have been out on previous trials.

Woodwind Brasswind is a very reputable company and I am certain that they
want customers to have an excellent experience. Dealing with wood products
can add extra challenges for any company. I am sure that they will take care
of customers that experience any problems.

Eric, if you would like to discuss this, please feel free to contact me "off
line."

Best wishes,

Morrie Backun
