I was studying in Paris with Maurice Gabai in 1979. I bought a matched set
of R13's ( A & Bb) made in 1962 for $500. The exchange rate at the time was
incredibly high for the dollar, thus my actual amt. paid was somewhere
around $250. I still use the 1962 A as it's one of the warmest sounding A
I've heard in years.
