Forgive me for bragging, but I made a small fortune on that book. The
subject was not arithmetic (in which I did very poorly in elementary school
where memorization was the needed skill). It was not until I got into the
abstraction of algebra where symbol manipulation was king, that I got my
head shaped right. To this day, I still have trouble with 8x7.

Mark, did you use the 1620 book in your education? I finished it just before
moving to France so as to complete my gustatory education.

And speaking of books, why have so few clarinetists not read "The Mozart
Forgeries"?? It was written for clarinet players. How will I be able to
afford a mistress if you don't buy more copies of that book?

Are you trying to tell me that 1962 minus 1945 is not 7? Pedants!
