Fred: I also bought my first R13 at Silver and Horland in NYC in 1967.
They gave me 4 to try and (as a young teen with no electronic tuner) I
picked out the best of the lot. The price had gone up a little since 1963
... I paid $250. 44 years later, with many concerts and performances
under its belt, I'm still using this great horn on a daily basis...
