That's very interesting, since I've heard both sides of the arguments! I h=
ave been extremely lucky throughout my career, and my first crack didn't oc=
cur until last year, where I decided (after having it glued) NOT to get rep=
lace my joint - which was covered by my warranty - seeing how it would prob=
ably affect the sound. Yet, there is something about playing on a "PINNED"=
clarinet that just doesn't seem well with me. But its good to hear a stor=
y like yours which confirms that I may not have to part with it just yet! =

Luckily for me I leave close enough to the factory, should I decide to thou=
gh! =
