Work first on getting him to _stop_ the reed with his tongue. Once he gets
over that sensation, getting him to keep blowing and start the note by
removing his tongue will be easier. Make sure the stop is all at once, not a
taper of any kind. Some kids find that this tickles (which means they aren't
stopping the reed quickly enough) and they avoid it as a result.
