To me, when it is saliva, I see a deposit of minerals which happens on
the outside of the mouthpiece. Personally I never see that inside the
mouthpiece or in the rest of the clarinet. That strongly suggests that,
at least in my case, what is inside the clarinet is mostly breath
condensation.
