The problem was there with the Gortex pads soon after I purchased the
instrument. I'm assuming there should have not been in chips with a new
instrument.
I've replaced the Gortex pad with a cork and the problem is still there.
I'm trying to visualize the chip issue. Are you saying a chip in the actual
bore at the mouth of the tone hole in question?
