I have used this temporary solution with some success in the past - get a piece of string and spray it with silicone based polish then hold it, while wet, lengthwise through the section. Try and apply an alternative route for the saliva by touching the wet string to the bore in the appropriate place.

There could be a tiny chip in the tone hole or the pad may not be seated
perfectly. I prefer to refer to the water as "condensation."
