Actually anything you buy on ebay and pay with paypal has a 45 day
return policy, no questions ask thanks to ebay's and paypal's buyer
protection. Seller doesn't have a return policy - just file with ebay or
paypal. They 99.9% of the time rule in the buyer's favor.

That said, I'd be very leery of spending that much money on a musical
instrument on ebay. I've bought some old clarinets to try and refurb.
One guy put the shipping labels right on the case, then wrapped the case
in clear plastic. Someone else put the case for a metal clarinet in a
garbage bag, wrapped some duct tape around it, and called that shipping.
One would hope that with an instrument of that value the packing would
be better, but I've found that it's a 50/50 shot on getting a well
packaged item from ebay.
