For the last month, my husband and I have been supplying all the labor on a
minor construction / squalor-reduction project here at home and I've let it
distract me to the point where I missed the International Saxophone
Symposium at GMU January 7-8 (checked the dates a day too late), and then
this past Sunday, instead of going to the National Gallery concert, I
ignorantly stayed home -- to paint the bleeping pantry shelves!
(Whoopdedoo.) And I'd particularly wanted to hear David Niethamer. Nuts!
