I sensed that you were a "sensitive soul", and that can be a real
problem for people who project their own work to the public for critical
review, ESPECIALLY with the anonymity of the Internet thrown in.

It is important to remember that, 95% of the time on this list, the
criticisms we read are academic criticisms, not personal criticisms.
People are commenting on the content or the meaning, not on the
presenter. It is vitally important to be able to distance yourself from
your work personally, if you hope to survive in the world of YouTube.

The vast majority of us have never met each other, and we can't see
emotion or passion in an email. I think you need to continue doing what
you are doing, but you also need to be able to accept academic criticism
for what it is -- an attempt to refine and build, rather than an attempt
to cut down.
