Not wrong, Peter.
I was out in the muck and mud today with my family. We went to help out a
friend, but by the time we got there, not much to do for them.
However, we moved on to someone else's home, and there were just so many
people turning up from all over to help as they could. As we left, others
were coming in. They looked out of place in clean clothes!

The worst part was to see just how much stuff has been ruined. All along
the street was a continuous pile of rubbish, pulled from houses, and all
browny grey. And while there was a huge amount achieved, there is still a
lot to do, even to get the basic clean up complete.

I found, however, that it was a pointed reminder that we all have too much
stuff - something I had also rediscovered as I cleaned out and packed up my
mothers unit after she moved into care recently.

Blessings to all, and thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Geoff Secomb.
