This is the official government relief appeal website for the floods in
Queensland, Australia. http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html

The flood peaked this morning at 4.00am, and there are about 20,000 homes
heavily affected by the flood, and thousands of businesses. Please also
remember that this is a state wide catastrophe, with about 75% of Queensland
affected. For those who don't know Australia well, this represents a very
large land area (quoted a couple of weeks ago as equal to France and Germany
combined.)
