Everyone should have a CO detector, or several, in their home.

That said, the "weekend headache" has long been a well-documented
phenomenon among migraine sufferers. The pressure of having to be
"on" for work every day can repress the headache (basically, it's like
you tell yourself you can't afford to be out of commission), then when
the pressure's off come Saturday - BOOM - the headache hits.

Also, things like sleeping and eating at irregular hours, drinking
alcohol, etc. can trigger headaches. During the work week most people
have pretty structured days - get to bed and get up at the same time,
eat at about the same times, don't drink (or at leats not much). The
weekend comes and suddenly you're getting to bed at 2 a.m. instead of
11 p.m., and sleeping until noon, etc.

Keeping the same schedule on weekdays and weekends is one of the first
things most headache doctors will ask their patients to do as part of
a prevention program.
