Oh my dear, I did speak in error. Twice.
First, sorry about my claim there were no Trumpets.
Additionally, upon reviewing the score, I see that the Alto Trombone
does indeed support the Altos, not the tenors.

Interestingly, on the IMSLP database, there is an old score - no
copyright that I can see, but it looks to be near 200 years old. It
states that the trombone solo for Tuba Mirum is only the first call,
and then has the words "Fagotto solo" in bar 5.

Dan, do you know anything about this? I've performed the piece
probably 35-40 times,and I've never known the bassoon to play this part.
