I'm 95% sure it was Jon Clarke. He worked with L&M is the 70's and went on
to be one of the most successful (VERY deservedly) woodwind doublers in Los
Angeles. Among thousands of things, he played Oboe D'amore on the Six
Feet Under theme and the movie Fried Green Tomatoes and the famous baritone
sax solo on Your Mama Don't Dance and Your Daddy Don't Rock and Roll. He was
an amazing musician and a truly special person . Unfortunately he died of
cancer at age 54. No one who was at his memorial will ever forget the
multi-overdubbed recording played towards the end of the service of several hymns
he played on a full set of penny whistles. Not a dry eye in the house, or
in my house right now remembering.

I am sure this person is doing all the reed work on this song.
