Learned colleagues
Over the summer holidays I have been working a lot on scales and technique,
and wondered, apart from the Jean Jean etudes, whether there is a specific
technique book out there specifically for whole tone scales, in thirds and
arpeggios, as well as scales in major seconds, minor and major thirds. I
could do them from memory but I prefer to look at a score so when I see the
pattern in a (usually) French piece of music, I pick it up immediately.
