oh. I dont think it would be 5$ near me. There;s no one capable of doing a repair like that within an hour (at least) so I'd have to pay for shipping, and then who knows what someone will charge me. (I know.. sounds bizarre... no one capable of re sizing a ring, but you would be surprised the kind of half-baked garbage thats been done to my clarinet) I just can't imagine anyone I've ever had my clarinet fixed with would ever charge me 5$ for anything. Plus all the days of shipping it then shipping back etc.. and its the holidays. I think I might just spring for a new barrel. Its not like this one was anything special. it just came with the insturment. I was kind of hoping the ring could jsut be ignored and I could just pretend it was still there. there goes my hopes and dreams! haha.
