Soprano Vicki Fisk and mezzo Beth Staples formed Due Voci to recapture =
the little known and rarely performed vocal duet repertoire and make it =
available to the general public through performances and recordings. =
Together, they bring a wide range and rich wealth of vocal and musical =
experience to the ensemble and have since concertized in the US and =
abroad. Their debut CD, The Way of Love, featured duets by Mendelssohn, =
Brahms, and Dvorak.
The Valley Ringers were formed in 1973 with Lucille Eggers as their =
first handbell director. There are currently 12 members, one of whom is =
an original member and a 3 generation family (grandmother, mother and =
her 2 sons) in this mulit-generational bell choir. They are from the =
First Congregational Church in Park Ridge and have performed in many =
handbell festivals throughout the years. They are currently under the =
direction of Joyce Aitken.
The Palisades Virtuosi, consisting of flutist Margaret Swinchoski, =
clarinetist Donald Mokrynski and pianist Ron Levy, is a 501 (c)(3) =
organization established to promote and enrich the repertoire for flute, =
clarinet and piano and present concerts that include existing and =
newly-commissioned repertoire for this configuration (each of their =
concerts includes a work commissioned by the ensemble), supplemented by =
solos, duos and larger works featuring guest artists. Volumes One, Two =
