Here's one for all of you who have been discussing at what angle Sabine
Meyer crosses her "T's" and what century her instrument was made in. Tell me
you can't watch this and just enjoy music. If you can't, you need to
seriously analyze yourself. This is fabulous music made with love and enjoyment.
Don't loose sight of that. If you don't like the way someone moves when
they're playing music, close your eyes.
Folks, it's MUSIC. It's to express one's self and to enjoy listening
to. It's neither brain surgery, nor mass murder. Trying to achieve a
composer's wishes is admiral. I have performed many, many first performances with
the composer present. I can't remember any of those times when we
performers haven't made changes which were met with praise from the composer.
To get to these concerts, I, the rest of the musicians, and most of
the audience arrived in vehicles powered by internal combustion engines and
we read our music using incandescent lights. HORRORS! We really should have
ridden horses and read by candlelight.

Lighten up,
Phil Feather
