Jennifer,

Are you addressing me? If so I am baffled - I haven't made any comments on
your posts since the '3 Hz difference' one to which you replied 'that makes
sense'. I have not participated in the 'cloud cuckoo land' discussion. There
was no intention to shoot you down. If there has been a misunderstanding,
let's email off-list so as not to bore anyone else!

ESET footers are added by my software.

Ugh. I feel shot down. It was really pleasant interacting with you
during the acoustic discussions. All I can guess is that they tired
you out. I am sorry for that.

Is there a problem with me shifting between reality and cloud cuckoo
land so readily?

I see you have shifted back up to three ESET footers (as opposed to
the usual two and occasional one). I must be really dangerous. There
are some people that talk with their hands between me and them. It
seems like a defensive gesture to deflect any demons I may be
harboring. -a sort of genuflection. Watch out for my spurious pain!
Don't catch it!-)

You certainly aren't the only one.

As you may say: Whatever.

(I figure that the last two lines there serve as my ESET footers:-)
It also must be why self deprecatory language is widely used; shoot
yourself down before someone else does, at least then you know it is
coming and can brace yourself for it so that it doesn't hurt as much.)

Perhaps I should have left it with Martin Baxter's response and left
out my reference to cloud cuckoo land. Martin Baxter's response felt
nice.

You may be quite justified in your response. You are also really
capable of shooting me down (or anyone else for that matter).
