I've seen an ENT specialist and an audiologist to try to solve my ear-ringing
issue (nothing really they could do, but I find background noise low in volume
helps). They did say there was nothing wrong with my hearing, which I could've
told them (my hearing is sensitive, so sounds seem louder than they really are
and I hear things others don't (because of the volume, not because I'm
delusional or anything), although it is suggested that this is a result of
PTSD).

Does medical insurance typically cover something like this if I can find a
medical justification? If not, I can't even explore it. I saw online that these
can cost $150 or more. I only see $205/month our of my SSI and SSDI, so it's out
of the question if I have to pay for them (although I can't see Medicare or
Medicaid paying for them).
