That sounds absolutely wondrous and delightful! Do you, Dan or anyone, have a link where we might see it on the web?

Subject: [kl] The carrot clarinet

Today on the CBS Sunday morning show, a Viennese orchestra, whose members play only on vegetables, was given a 10 minute show. The
instruments included a carrot clarinet, a zucchini with a pepper on the end of it, percussion instruments made from onion skins,
beans, and a large pumpkin that was thumped on.

It was delightful. The only drawback was that in the orchestra's recent tour of the US, they had to make all of the instruments for
every concert because they don't last for more than a few hours. So the group arrives in any city the night before and spends the
next morning and afternoon buying and making the instruments. And should they not find a proper cucumber, for example, the
instrumentation changes from concert to concert.
