Mary,
There are many different kinds of velour fabrics that have been used
by various case makers. E.g., some use a true velvet; others use a
variety of velours such as 'crushed velour'. You can USUALLY get
something similar to what you need at a fabric store, but a color
match is usually impossible. And figuring out what glue to use and
how to use it can be quite interesting, not to mention what happens
when you deal with the padding, which are two of the reasons people
pay me to fix their cases. That said, go for it. If you run into a

Do they sell the fabric to re-line an older clarinet case? I have a
couple of older ones where the red lining is getting very thin.
