The original publication of Johann Strauss Jr., Vergnu=CC=88gungszug =
Polka, (Pleasure Train), op. 281 is scored for 1st Clarinet in E (Not =
Eb). The instrument is also shown in E in the critical Doblinger score =
by Norbert Rubey which contains a facsimile page. This E part is the =
correct transposition to fit with the concert key. Are there any other =
Clarinet parts in the orchestra literature scored for E Clarinet?
