Not sure I fully agree with you where you say "but the Berlin Phil won't
allow a Boehm system"

May be I am wrong, but I think the french clarinetist Philippe Cuper has
played a couple of month
with the Berlin Phil, and sure he will not have switched from his Buffet's
Boehm system to the german
system just for that...
