I have that issue, but I think part of the problem is that it's out of adjustment. My throat tones are especially horrendous. The throat Bb registers as a flat A on my tuner. It's very hard for me to pull out and blow it down enough to get it in tune, so until I scare up some cash to get to worked on, I avoid that note. The alternate fingering is better, but some stuff I'm playing I don't have time to get to it. So, I leave the notes out that are nasty.
