That piece has been floating around the Web for about a year. There's a book entitled "How to be Tremendously Tuned in to Opera," edited by E.O. Parrott, an anthology of amusing poetry and prose about opera plots. My one complaint is that even with more than 100 encapsulated opera plots, there ought to be more. It's a good read for the humor and a quick way to brush up on the plot of an unfamiliar opera.
