Martin Baxter asks whether one could have perfect pitch in Vienna,
where the Philharmonic tunes to A-446

I think the answer is that it's possible. Michel Piguet, who played
baroque oboe at 415, classical oboe at 430 and modern oboe at 440, had
a very acute sense of perfect pitch. He said that when he switched
instruments, it took him a few hours to adjust. He also adjusted to
various mean-tone tuning systems.
