How long is the tenon and how deep is the socket?
The tenon on the mouthpiece is 35mm long. The socket, which actually goes straight into the other socket (for the body tenon) is the same length. when using it I use tuning rings, as Richard also advocates.
In passing may I say I DO play it occasionally. I've also played the flute in a trio sonata. Martin
