I ought to qualify what I posted earlier. There is a problem with removable file media. So far the Finale version 3.7 which installs on a Windows 7 machine must be executed in the Virtual PC mode with simulated XP. One then can access an executable version 3.7 the folder of which has been copied to the c-drive from an XP machine, but so far it can't find any media other than a:, c: and d: and a: is a lost cause because Windows 7 machines don't have floppy disk drives and the USB floppy drive I have isn't recognized by the program.

Consider it to be "work in progress."
