When the oboists writhing (on a held note) is sufficient to distract the concerto soloist and her neighbours in the orchestra I would not forgive her behaviour no matter how many serpents she was able to charm. However I don't think the orchestra have continued to give her the opportunity.
As for seating I have been known to take a cushion.
