Hello friends,

I announce you the results of the 6th International Clarinet Competition
"Saverio Mercadante" was held in Noci (Bari) from 14 to 17 October 2010 with
the participation of more than 50 clarinetists from Italy, Mexico, Korea,
Japan, Spain, Czech Republic and Germany.

Junior soloists

1st prize - Saulo J. Guerra Marrero (Spain)
2nd prize - Juncal Codina-Salada (Spanish)
3rd prize - Lucio Brancati (Italy)

Senior soloists

1st prize - not awarded
2nd prize - Sang Young Na (Korea)
2nd prize - Simone Marco Cremona (Italy)
3rd prize - Cristina Martin (Spain)
3rd prize - Terumi Hatashima (Japan)

Money prizes for the ex-aequo prizes was not broken but it was doubled the
amount.

The International Jury:

Victoria Soames Samek (UK), Albert Hunt (USA), Ludmila Peterkova (CZ),
Antonio Tinelli (ITA) and Denis Zanchetta (ITA).

In a few days you can visit the photogallery of the event on the official
website of the competition www.associazioneaulos.com. The sixth edition is
archived already started work on the 7th International Clarinet Competition
"Saverio Mercadante" to be held from 13 to 16 October 2011 in Noci
(Bari-Italy).
