I always have to fix things, such as crescendos and rit. markings (extracti=

parts before or after I do the 'avoid vertical collisions' thing; sometimes =

they're so out of whack, I delete the extracted parts, make adjustments, ad=

extract them again; results are mixed). Sometimes, items that were present =

saves ago pop up in the extracted part. For a while, I was using measure re=

until I found out that they are treated as rests during playback. So, I too=

them out and replaced them with the actual notes. When I extracted parts, t=

measure rests came back (although not in all the parts, just 1 or 2 of them=

If this were part of my livelihood, I could see spending the money to upgra=

versions, maybe=A0every couple of years or so. I bought Finale the first ti=

version=A02006, then upgraded with version 2007. After I found out I put ou=

$100-ish for not much being=A0different between the versions, I haven't upg=
raded =

since. Although I think I've had 3-4 different authorization codes (replace=

hard drive, blew up a hard drive, etc.). I think it sucks that for that amo=

of money, you can only have an active subscription on 1 computer (I don't k=

about others, but for me, that's a ton of money since it's 1/2 of what I ge=
t per =

month to live on; long live disability, eh?).
