I recall I was playing Leblancs or 926's when I bought it perhaps 40 years ago, prior to my change to 1010's. Trying it the other week , it gives acceptable tuning on my 1010 Bb but is less happy on the 1010 A both of which I now use. Were there different KELL models specifically designed for French bore, 926 or 1010? I have quite a few dedicated parallel 1010 m/p's but this one offers a large sound and may be OK for the noisier jobs were it not for the discrepancy on the A instrument. I guess my repair shop could confirm parallel or tapered bore but I am quite interested to learn more about the Kell range of m/p's.
