I'm making some progress and having problems. Here's what's going on:

~ Sometimes when I try to put in the 2nd layer, the notes refuse to stay in=

order that I put them in.
~ If I try to copy/replace into another staff=A0(because I'm doing the same =

1st/2nd split in multiple instruments), the replaced music doesn't come out=

same in multiple staves.

Here is my current hangup. In the first layer, I have a dotted half tied to=

eighth note followed by another eighth note (4/4 time). In the the second l=
ayer, =

I'm trying to put in a quarter, 2 eighths, a quarter (thus far slurred toge=

and the last quarter. Sometimes the first note in layer 2 will appear befor=

dotted half and sometimes it will appear after. The notes in layer 2 don't =

in order all the time. The spacing and order of notes=A0within the measure =
gets =

wacky if I try to fix/erase something.

I can do what I want to in a new document, but then it messes up when I try=

place it into my working document. It's frustrating to delete more then I a=

feel close because the piece is finally written but I can't seem to orchest=
