Deborah,
Move to Tehachapi, California.

Make more musical friends.

Sorry, neither of those are serious answers, but I think just about anythin=
g you =

do to get your fix is OK if you make it work.=A0 Call up, meet, do anything=
to =

find pianists and offer to get together just to play.=A0 And then put toget=
her a =

casual recital.=A0 We've kicked around the idea of having house concerts, s=
alons, =

whatever, to play music, and to socialize.=A0 Come to think of it, a local =
music =

store, Fiddlers' Crossing/Mountain Music, is now having Friday night jams/o=
pen =

mike/mini concerts, for a casual place to hang out, read chamber music, or =
even =

to perform.

Specifically, I've found pianists that are at a level to read our usual son=
atas, =

to be busy, to be hard to find, and maybe they'll all want money.=A0 But I =
still =

think casting your net and being flexible about how you do it, will lead yo=
u to =

some kind of playing.

Oh yes, we have three orchestras in our little town, all started by people =

trying to get their fix.
