In my book, "gran Partitta" (available on Amazon.com), I have an entire =
chapter on the matter of the subtitle.
Because it was written by a German, the capitalization "gran Partitta" =
follows German capitalization rules; i.e., adjectives are not capitalized =
and nouns are. And as for the spelling of "Partitta," it is, of course, =
incorrect spelling TODAY, but not in the 18th century, particularly in the =
area of Venice where many words with one "t" today had two "t-s" then. For =
example "depositatti," "ducatti," and lots of others.

Dan, I have no problems with the spelling. The [sic] comes from the Library
of Congress entry:
> =81Serenade no. 10 in Bb, K.V. 361/370a : Gran partitta [sic], ca. 1781- =
82,
>Vienna / Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ; performance edition arranged by
Frederick Fennell.
