Simon
Thanks. I've been using a small program called "Notation Composer" which is
a very light version of Finale. You get what you pay for....
The program claims to be able to the very process you have described but to
date, I've had no success. It will recognize the first staff of music and
then stop.
Since my music writing penmanship is not as clean as I would like, I've been
using the Notation program to manually put the transposed parts into a nice
printed format. Unfortunately, this process is slower than watching paint
dry.
Maybe if I would hookup my electric keyboard I could speed the process up
dramatically.
But the whole notion of being able to scan an existing piece of music,
upload it, change the key signature, and making then only needing to some
minor alterations would be a dream come true.
