OK, I'll bite: why does IMSLP offer Breitkkopf's score and parts for the
orchestra, but only typeset versions of the solo parts? Is it that editors'
work on the solo parts gives those copyright protection that the parts and
score don't have? BTW, my copy of the Breitkopf edition for clarinet
(published before basset clarinet editions were available, bought sometime
in the early 1960s) and piano doesn't name editors for either the clarinet
part or the piano reduction. Did whoever scanned and contributed the B&H
score and orchestra parts not think to scan the solo part?

I am recovering from feeling rather bummed. I just downloaded the
clarinet solo (in A) from imslp, but instead of getting a nifty
looking aged image, like the Simrock edition of Brahms' second
clarinet sonata, I got this thing that looks like something my
clarinet instructor produced on music editing software:
