I'm wondering if there are enough extant editions that we are barking up
the wrong tree with this one ... still, the work is obscure enough that
a good scholarly edition isn't uncalled for.

That page suggests that the work was originally published by Chester.

I've written to Michael Bryant to ask about the publication history --
he has quite a good overview of this if I recall. We should also
contact the librarian at the Royal College of Music in London to ask
about these works, since that's likely where the manuscripts are
located. Does anyone know who in particular we should contact there?

Best wishes,

-- Joe
