I heard the first symphony (recorded, admittedly) less than a week ago.

I wouldn't be too quick to praise the music of Mozart. Of his 40+
symphonies, most orchestras only perform maybe 5 of them. When was the
last time you heard a performance of Mozarts 7th, or his 13th? You
don't. Fact is, Mozart published over 600 pieces of music, and a big
chunk of it is frankly quite boring.

approximation to the music the angels play in heaven.... The concerto of
such unbelievable beauty if makes me want to weep with the joy of hearing
it. Can anyone forget that famous scene in The Shawshank Redemption? I have
recently branched out into making Relaxing New Age CDs, and have been using
the Concerto as a basis for improvisation for the CD, and really, the music
needs no embellishment, it is perfect the way it is. The Quintet also is
heartbreakingly devine.
