Hi everyone

Excuse me for being a little behind on the list, but to be bored of Mozart is to be bored of life. I believe the music of Mozart to be the closest approximation to the music the angels play in heaven.... The concerto of such unbelievable beauty if makes me want to weep with the joy of hearing it. Can anyone forget that famous scene in The Shawshank Redemption? I have recently branched out into making Relaxing New Age CDs, and have been using the Concerto as a basis for improvisation for the CD, and really, the music needs no embellishment, it is perfect the way it is. The Quintet also is heartbreakingly devine.

Perhaps Jennifer's reaction is one of youth and personality. I have been desperately in love with the piece since I first heard it at the tender age of nine and always aspired to play it. I performed it in 1999 with orchestra and poured my heart and soul into it.

That said, it is possible to overthink the concerto and get tied up in all sorts of musical knots.

End of Shakespearean commentary.

Kind regards
