Hello all,

One thought that crossed my mind, since it's a work precious to many of
us, was to dedicate the aforementioned "collaborative urtext project" to
the Serenade K361.

If I recall correctly, the only sources for this are the manuscript
(which the Library of Congress makes freely available on their website
as high-quality TIFF files of each page) and the first edition of 1801.

It's also a case in point for my concerns over IMSLP, since the score
there (a late-19th-century Breitkopf & Haertel edition) contains
numerous editorial additions on _the first page alone_.

So the first question is if anyone can supply me with a copy of the
first edition, or if there are any other pieces of source material I
should be considering.

Meanwhile, I can get to work engraving a copy based directly on the
manuscript. The question is, once I do that, is anyone willing to
contribute in terms of review and expertise of the score, editorial
assistance and the writing of the critical commentary?

Best wishes,

-- Joe
