When young people with only limited musical exposure make negative comments about very important musicians, such as Mozart, Beethoven, etc., they are only trying to show their independence. If the adult world likes the music, then they must find a way to dislike it.

So when I see comments about the Mozart concerto from Jennifer Jones and Rachel Roessel, I am sad for them, because at some time in the future, should they ever become musically mature, they will remember the infantile thoughts they expressed about Mozart, become sick at the thought of their childish attitudes towards his music, and hide under the bed for a long time so that no one can find them.

We can only feel contempt for adults who express such views, but for kids, it's all about growing up.

Never trust anybody under 30.
